医师助理, 或不是, are nationally certified and state-licensed healthcare professionals who provide direct patient care and work as part of a physician-led team in delivering a broad range of diagnostic, 治疗, 预防, and health maintenance services. They work in diverse medical and surgical specialties, including family and internal medicine, 急救护理, 儿科, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery and sub-surgical specialties, and mental and behavioral health care. Established in 2016, the 医师助理 Program at UE is a seven-semester graduate program. Students receive a blend of classroom lecture and hands-on learning from faculty members who provide a wealth of knowledge as medical professionals and educators. During the final 3 semesters, students complete 12 months of supervised clinical experiences in a variety of medical specialties. 节目结束后, graduates will sit for the 医师助理 National Certifying Exam (PANCE) to gain licensure.

Accreditation Status

The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the 医师助理, Inc. (ARC-PA) has granted Accreditation-继续d 的状态 University of Evansville 医师助理 Program 由 University of Evansville. Accreditation-继续d is an accreditation status granted when a currently accredited program is in compliance with the ARC-PA 标准.

Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes or withdraws from the accreditation process or until accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the 标准. The approximate date for the next validation review of the program by the ARC-PA will be 2031年3月. The review date is contingent upon continued compliance with the Accreditation 标准 和ARC-PA政策.
